Renovation and extension of a house in Cannes - about the project
Shazad Construction carried out major structural alterations as part of the renovation of a villa located in the hills of the Californie area in Cannes, for a private client. In this ambitious project, we built 35 linear metres of retaining walls to create a stable parking area, as well as a platform at the same level as the indoor swimming pool, which we integrated into the villa as a whole.
Numerous underpinning operations were necessary, involving the installation of IPN, IPE and HEA steel beams. Some of the work was particularly delicate, notably a large-scale underpinning operation designed to maximise the living space while ensuring the safety and stability of the structure. A villa extension was also carried out, accompanied by multiple window enlargements, including a complex intervention on the existing framework.
As part of this project, we also took charge of the construction of an indoor swimming pool and spa, designed to blend harmoniously into the villa extension and create a high-end relaxation area. This renovation work transformed the villa into a spacious, functional and elegant space that met the client’s requirements while enhancing the natural setting and panoramic view of Cannes.
