CONSTRUCTION OF AN INFINITY POOL IN CANNES – ABOUT THE PROJECT
We completely demolished an oval-shaped swimming pool and its surrounding area in order to transform it into a rectangular infinity pool in a villa located in the hills above Cannes. As part of this swimming pool construction project, it was necessary to partially preserve the existing structure and connect it to the new pool using broaching, thus ensuring structural continuity and harmonious integration. Approximately one-third of the slab surface extends outwards, giving this infinity pool design, with its panoramic view, the appearance of a veritable balcony overlooking the sea and the French Riviera.
To guarantee the stability of this protruding structure and ensure its perfect integration with the villa, masonry and structural work was carried out. The foundations were reinforced and the pool was carefully waterproofed to meet the technical requirements specific to infinity pools and high standards of safety and durability.
This pool renovation project has transformed the outdoor space into a true place of relaxation. The combination of ambitious architectural design and rigorous execution of this infinity pool has made this bold project a success, facing the sea and the iconic landscapes of the French Riviera.
